PROJECT OVERVIEW
University of Iowa sought to implement a digital activation in the lounge area of
one of their residence and dining halls.
In summer 2023, during my stint as a UI/UX Design Intern with Dimensional Innovations,
I had the opportunity to work on the mobile component of an interactive digital experience for a dormitory lounge in the University of Iowa.
MY ROLE
I brought the UX user flow to life by designing the web-app's UI design. I also streamlined Dimensional Innovations'
UX process by implementing the company's style guide templates, with Iowa's digital ecosystem project being the first to be implemented
with such templates.

LESSONS TO LEARN
One week after my work with Dimensional Innovations, this project partnered with the University of Iowa
successfully launched!
I greatly enjoyed my experience working with a multidisciplinary team. This was my first large project working
with professionals in this way.
Be prepared to work with clients.
I had the unique opportunity to present my own work to clients at the University of Iowa and get their direct feedback.
Having a good understanding of your own design work is very important!
